Place a waste basket close to the toilet to catch all paper and waste. Do not flush the paper towels that you have used when cleaning. And don’t put cigarettes down the toilet.
 
In the Kitchen:
Any bits of food and all fats are a big problem for the septic system. The system can’t digest these products and they build up causing problems. Before washing your dishes, take a minute to wipe the bits into the garbage, and wipe all fat, including salad dressings, from your dishes and pans. 

Important:
Antibacterial soaps and beach cleaning products are very bad for a septic system and should not be used at all. Please do not use these at the park. ]]>
